Building Friendships & Sharing Cultures

We have a client who is a long-time supporter of the Halifax Chinese Language School. The school is a cultural hub, offering courses in traditional Chinese dance, music, and art as well as mathematics and Mandarin.

On June 16, 2018, we were invited to the school’s 25th Anniversary Gala at the Spatz Theatre in Halifax. It was an honour to be invited to this special event, where we were entertained with song, music and dance for two hours. The highlight of the evening was meeting famous Tibetan singer, Anso Garangdengzhen. Thanks to our wonderful client, seven year old Isabella (Bella) Wilson had back-stage access!

We feel blessed to be part of the communities of the clients we serve and proud to be calledtheir friends. In this case, learning about Chinese traditions and culture has been a rewarding experience.

Through our clients, we’ve been introduced to several traditional Chinese customs and wonderful food. Our cherished client has also introduced us to dim sum at the China Town Restaurant – now one of our favourite weekend treats.  We also get to enjoy exceptional teas. It’s not uncommon to see a member of our team enjoying dim sum on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon.

The restaurant’s biggest fan is Bella. She is never one to turn down sticky rice and dumplings, and has started researching China in anticipation of a future visit.

A big thank-you to our clients for welcoming us into your communities! It’s just another reason why we love what we do.
