We’re shining the Christmas spotlight on a jolly good fellow named Salty. He’s not Santa Claus, but he’s the next best thing.
Salty hails from Grand Falls, Newfoundland. He recently made his way to the mainland to join his friends and family, and he’s been a very busy clown ever since. When he’s not clowning around in the community, you can find him enjoying the serenity of the Hammonds Plains community with his roommates, our very own David & Susan Skinner. We hear through the grapevine that he looks an awful lot like David Skinner. We aren’t yet able to confirm the rumours because the exaggerated facial features are throwing us for a bit of a loop. We’ll keep you posted as we learn more.
For now, here’s what we know about Salty:
He has a full social calendar, and lots of responsibilities. He recently partnered up with Shriners Canada; a partnership he is very excited about. Salty has big plans for 2019, including making visits to venues where children need an extra reason to laugh like our local hospitals. For now, Salty is honing his craft and breaking in his (very large) shoes at community events like The 23rd Annual Holiday Parade of Lights held in Downtown Halifax last weekend.
Here’s Salty posing over the weekend before he hit the holiday parade circuit.
The Blake Wilson Group is wishing our clients, partners and friends a happy kick-off to the 2018 holiday season! Remember to call 902-835-6420 to provide a tip about Salty’s identity, or for help with residential and commercial mortgages.
